Designer Spotlight - Studio La Beauté
Camal Pirbhai was raised in Switzerland, and trained as an artisan in soft furnishings in London, England. There he learned the art of hand sewing curtains and the intricacies of window treatments. Currently, through his Toronto based Studio La Beauté, Pirbhai caters to the luxury market, creating high-end window treatments for elegant national as well as international settings. Pirbhai’s works display a fine balance between European quality and North American style. He also runs Gallery Bespoke in Yorkville, which focuses on fine art of home decor, produced in collaboration with other artists and artisans.
